The basics: a display and a player or SoC

You need a display that can run independently, or a display connected to an external player. This allows you to run your digital signage broadcast.

A display with a player

If you already have displays, you can connect a player (a small device) via HDMI. This player is responsible for playing the content. We offer this under the name Lumicast Pixie player.

A SoC display

Displays like professional Samsung Tizen displays don't need an external player. These displays have a SoC (System on Chip) that plays the content.

It's good to know that both options achieve the same goal. Lumicast works well with both options.
